OCSC has given permission to stay overnight for safety reasons for our members that live more than an hour away. GMASC officers elected to follow other associations by assigning work slots for each participant. Consideration will be given to show schedule. It is a Federation requirement that each participant help by working needed areas so the State Show is successful. GMASC will be assigned an area for both disciplines. GMASC has no control of the rotation schedule and/or times. Both have been assigned equally among the 10 associations. It is impertive that our members plan accordingly. If child is younger than 17 years old, a parent, other family member or family friend must cover the assignment. Pleasure...Youth members, same guidelines as above, will work on Saturday while the adults compete. Adult members will work on Sunday to support our youth members. Stall numbers are assigned by the Host on a rotating schedule. GMASC will be given an area based on the number of stalls needed by our members. Host will send to GMASC Secretary in August. This will allow enough time before arrival to order additional bags of shavings and stall mats. Consideration will be given to requests for stall neighbors. NO GUARANTEE!
